She was predeceased by : her husband Carl R. Sharpe; her son Shannon Sharpe; her parents, Thomas Cleveland Savage, Jr. and Lula Beatrice Carney Savage; and her brother Woodie Savage.

She is survived by : her son Sandy Sharpe; her grandchildren, Cameron Sharpe (Paula) of Lyons, Mikell Sharpe and Jordan Wilt Matthews (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Cali Love, Claire Sharpe, Ava Matthews and Abagail Sharpe.
