It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwinnette Clifton of Lyons, Georgia, born in Evans, Georgia, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Barrett Reeves; her parents, Charlie Clanton and Eula Mae Driggers; and her siblings, Charlie C. Driggers, Teller E. "Buck" Driggers, Vera Salter and Nathan Driggers.

She is survived by: her husband Preston Clifton; her daughters, Gwen Williams (Dannie) of Lyons, Cindy Girardeau (Hal) of Lexington, SC, Tam Brown of Ailey, Sandra DeUnger (Mark) of Ludowicci and Daphne Flowers (Andy) of Jacksonville, FL; and her grandchildren, Mindy Morrison (Scott) of Vidalia, Emily Williams of Lyons, Amy Girardeau of Lexington, SC and Benny Todd (Crystal) of Glennville. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
