It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean Gashaw of Lyons, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 92, on August 6, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loran Allen Scott and Bessie Fields Scott; her husband David "Hank" Gashaw; and her siblings, Louise Blassinggame, Cubalene Scott Briggs, Ruby Dell Scott Rushing, Sam Scott and Louis Scott.
She is survived by: her siblings, MayRoy Scott Powell of Vidalia, Donna Scott Johnson of Alaska, Thomas Scott (Bonnie) of Lyons and Mickey Scott (Tonja) of Vidalia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Gordon Street Baptist Church (167 E Gordon Ave, Lyons, GA 30436). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
