He is survived by: his wife Emilia Alvarez; his children, Luis Antonio Alvarez (Jessica) of Lyons, Jessica Chee (Allen) of Savannah and Alexander Alvarez of Lyons; his grandchildren, Luis Alvarez, Jr., Jesus Alvarez, Jr., Emilia Alvarez, Lily Vendl Thom Vendl, Alexander Vendl, Sebastian Vendl and Elizabeth Vendl; and his siblings, Josefina, Roberto, Maria, Jose, Estella, Irma and Victoria Alverez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
