We are sad to announce that, on August 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John Durst of Lyons, Georgia. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Durst to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheriff Charles Weston Durst and Bobbie Rae Thompson Durst. He is survived by: his sister Jean Durst Hill (Coach Kevin Hill) of Lyons; his aunt Rachel Thompson of Lyons; his niece Brooke Hill Smith (Thomas) of Ailey; his nephew Chuck Hill (Shelby) of Dublin; his great-nieces, Raeann Smith and Anna Charles Hill; and his great-nephew Luke Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 71, Lyons, GA 30436.
