Paul Steven Smith wrote a sympathy message

“Bunny was my step-mother for many, many years, as I grew up. She was a very kind, patient and giving person, who instilled in me what love was through the adversities of life. Her devotion to God was unquestionable and through her example of life, I was saved in the truest sense of what God wanted of me. Circumstance parted us many years ago, but I have never let a day go by that I have not thought fondly of the love both she and Aunt Elaine gave. Mama,, you helped me be a better man. Love, S”
