Shoemake of Lyons, Erica M. Sapp of Lyons and Adora "Sunny D" Brown of Lyons; his mother Loretta Brown of Vidalia; and his siblings, Lena Byrd of Washington, Dinah S. Taylor (Shaft) of Metter, Steven Byrd, Sr. (Sonia), Jonah Byrd (Hilda) of Florida and Tina Deloach (Chris) of Statesboro. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
