It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peyton Dewitt Stanley of Lyons, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Catherine Stanley Ascher of St. Simons Island, Doris Eugenia Stanley Malone (James) of Dexter and James Harrison Stanley (Nancy) of Lyons; his nephews, Barrett Malone (Cassie) of Watkinsville, Keegan Malone (Katie) of Dexter and Matthew Stanley of Augusta; his cousin Dianne Stanley; his brother-in-law James Gary Ascher of St. Simons Island; his parents, Dorris Eugene Stanley and Leila Evelyn McRae Stanley; and his friends, Jack, Karen Jackson, Ernie, Maureen Woodard and Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

The family has requested that any memorial contributions be given to the charity of your choice.
