With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Lopez Cruz (Lyons, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 78. He is survived by: his wife Vera Cruz; his children, Samuel Cruz Jr., Marlina Cruz and Maria Guadalupe Cruz; his son-in-law Jose Lora; his grandchildren, Anthony Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Vonny Cruz, Samantha Elena, Sylvia Argueta, Clarissa Argueta, Romeo Jones and Isaac Jones; his granddaughters-in-law, Dalia Banks and Elidia Gonzalez; and his great grandchildren, Daniel Jayden Cruz, Faith Cruz, Jalen Gonzalez, Kiyel Anthony Gonzalez and Amy Gonzalez.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home (211 W Liberty Ave, Lyons, GA 30436). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
