He was predeceased by : his father Thurman L. Phillips. He is survived by : his mother Evelyn Darden Herring (Richard) of Lyons; his brother Glenn T. Phillips (Kathy) of Vidalia; his nieces, Jennifer Phillips of Vidalia and Jessica Phillips of Vidalia; his great-nieces, Macy Strickland and Ariel Sikes; and his great-nephew Bryton Sikes.
