With sadness, we share the passing of Trueman Groves of Lyons, Georgia. Trueman, born on February 4, 1932 in Copeville, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Lottie Mae Groves; his parents, Oscar Raymond Groves and Tommie Elizabeth Chandler Groves; and his siblings, Thomas Groves and Suzie Groves Vail.
He is survived by: his wife Angelina "Angel" Edenfield Groves of Lyons; his children, Ashley Schnitzer of Tomball and Michael Schnitzer; his nephew Oscar Groves of Chicago, Illinois; his nieces, Betty Groves Cortelli (Michael) of Orlando and Helen Groves of Iowa; his son-in-law Jake Edenfield of Lyons; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Lynn Herbaugh (Kenneth) of Reidsville and Rosa Lee Buff of Reidsville.
