She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Wilcher; her parents, Vernon Gillis and Gennie Dee Edge Gillis; and her siblings, Carolyn Gillis Tharpe, Harlow Gillis and T. G. Gillis.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Story (Kristi) of Lyons, Lance Story (Kaycee) of Lyons and Adrenna Howell (Josh) of Lyons; her siblings, Vernon Gillis of Soperton, Shirley Gillis Crowe of Macon and Wanda Gail Gillis Willis (Larry) of Soperton; and her grandchildren, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Baylie, Ethan, Brayden, Conner, Bensen, Kellie, Layton and Abby.
