He was predeceased by: his son Charles Wesley Colson; his parents, Wesley Colson, Sr. and Sudie Bell Atkinson Colson; and his sister Mary Gladys Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Nilda Colson of Lyons; and his children, Kathy Colson of Tarrytown, Wynell Shafi (Aurangzaib) of Alpharetta, Irene Purificacion of Spring Lake and Irineo Purificacion (Akane) of Japan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
