It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William F. Ford Jr. of Lyons, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Bobby Ford; his grandson Trey Ford; his parents, William Floyd Ford, Sr. and Lula Mae Driggers Ford; and his brothers, Jack Ford, Lamar Ford, Coy Ford and Laverne Ford.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Ford (Rhonda Hackle), Scott Ford (Dallas Santana), Jeffery Ford (Hailey Medders), Barbara Ford Conway (Mike) of North Zulch, Christy Ammons (Robert) of Baxley and Glenda Ford Beasley (Eric) of Soperton; his daughter-in-law Tammie Ford of Lyons; and his sister Bonnie Ford Toler of Vidalia. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
