She was predeceased by: her husband Emory Cartrett; her parents, Bubba Rogers and Bessie Rogers; and her sisters, Nancy Clower and Mary Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Matt, Rachel and Bill Cartrett; her granddaughter Carol; her sisters, Jayne Barfield and Barbara Strickland (Jack); her grandchildren, Chris (Carine), Katie, John, Vinny and Ariel; and her great grandchildren, Emily and Zoe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens (581 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126).
