It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn June Meredith Poole (Mableton, Georgia), born in Jacksboro, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Joe Lemuel Poole; her children, Greg Poole (Alisa) and Meredith Barth (Steve); her grandchildren, Zachary Poole (Hannah), Kellie Barth Funnell (John), Caroline Barth, Lane Barth and Hamilton Poole; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Finn, Lucy Poole and Emory Jo Funnell; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Poole and Jackie Poole; and her nieces, Paulette Gayden and Terri Schaffer. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mableton First Baptist Church or Trinity Church in Marble Hill, Georgia.
