He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lee Dilbeck and Lillie Mae Dilbeck; and his siblings, Leah Helms, William Dilbeck and Florene Brookshire.
He is survived by: his close friend Gerri of Mableton, GA; his children, Leasa Hemm (Wil) of Helen, GA, Tammy Johnston (Stuart) of Summerville, GA and Chris Dilbeck (Melissa) of Canton, GA; and his brothers, Thomas and Jim Dilbeck. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
