It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Henry Edwards Sr. of Mableton, Georgia, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Herman and Alma Pratt Edwards; his daughter Melody Wong; and his brothers, Bobby Edwards and Charlie Edwards.

He is survived by : his wife Martha Louise Ellis Edwards; and his children, Jolinda Edwards, Beverley Landry, Johnnie Edwards, Jr. and Wade Edwards. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
