She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grace Wheeler and Virginia Wheeler; her husband Doug Bennett; her children, Douglas Bennett (Johnette) of Jefferson and Ashlee Berto (Joe) of Savannah; her grandchildren, Ty and Lucas Bennett; and her siblings, Donnie, Jerry, Richard, Bobby, Danny and June.
