He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lewis Carr and Virginia Shores Carr; his wife Jean Carr; and his siblings, Cecil Carr and Edith Carr Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Alan D. Carr, Jr. (Tisha) and Deborah Clarke (Ken). He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
