He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Proffitt and Kathryn Morrison Barnard; his brother Bill Terry Proffitt of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and his close friend Scooter. He is survived by: his spouse Bebe Williams; his children, Anthony Proffitt (Jeannine Fowler) of Ft. Myers and Julie Tucker (Matt) of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Madi and Myla Tucker; and his sister Sue Rogers (Jimmy) of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
