With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aurie Frances Hardy Rankin Inzer of Macon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2026 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hardy and Nettie Lee Waldron Hardy; and her siblings, James Lee Hardy, Annalois Hardy Maloney, Ferrell Hardy, Jeyneil Hardy Deese and Rachel Hardy Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Rankin of Forsyth, Susan Rankin Ginn (Candler Ginn), Amy Rankin Spence of Macon, Goodwin Scott Rankin III (Lauren Rankin), Whit (Sandy Inzer) and Steven (Monica Inzer); and her grandchildren, Denise, Morgan Burke of Forsyth, Mary-Frances, Michael Morgan of St. Simons Island, Alex, Sadie Ginn of Watkinsville, Whitney, Haley Spillers, Georgia, Scott, Lucy Rankin of Forsyth, Kelsey Inzer, Jessie Zaengle of Florence and Jack Inzer of New York City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
