He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Tyler and Mary Crusselle; his stepfather Bill Crusselle; and his son Justin Tyler. He is survived by: his children, Benjamin "Lee" Tyler, Jr. (Danielle), Belinda Tyler-Morris (Craig), Crystal Tyler-Payne (David) and Charisse Nyhuis (Andrew); his sister Paula Thornton (Charles); and his grandchildren, Dallas, Tyler and Lily. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
