It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Currie of Macon, Georgia, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Currie and Ann Sabino Currie; his brothers, Thomas Currie Jr. and Father Donald Currie; and his former wife Patricia Currie.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Baker Currie; his daughters, Lisa Heath (Ricky) and Billie Jo Heath (Roger); his stepdaughter Sheri McKinney (Larry); his grandchildren, Mallory Cummings (Bob), Tyler Heath, Megan Heath, Logan Heath and Jared Heath; his stepgrandsons, Gabe and Keegan Turner; his brother Kenneth Currie of Michigan; and his great grandchild Evie Cummings. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
