He was predeceased by : his parents, William E. Upchurch and Mary Mason Upchurch; his daughter Theresa Upchurch; and his brothers, William Thomas Upchurch and Walter Upchurch.

He is survived by : his daughters, Deborah Hudson (Bill) and Renae Davis; his siblings, Mary Jane Newberry, Rachel Coan and Charles Upchurch (Scottie); and his close friend Marcia Coleman.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to the New Hope Baptist Church, 1393 Ga Hwy 49, Macon, Georgia 31211.

“The up church family lived at Cochran field when we did.They were the salt of the earth.We we’re blessed to have been neighbors and best friends with them.Bobby and Charles, Mary Jane and Rachel were great friends with Robert,Wayne,Faye and me.Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and may God bless each and everyone of you.Larry Jones.”
