He is survived by: his mother Ruth Bishop; his wife Eleanor Richardson Bishop; his children, Kathryn Bishop Tosh (Pete) and Bruce Jonas Bishop, Jr. (Christine); his grandchildren, Michael Bell Wilkins, Jr. (Rachael), William Bishop Wilkins, Jena Bruce Bishop, Bruce J. Bishop and Christopher Ryan Bishop (Diana); and his great grandchildren, Michael B. Wilkins, William Bishop Wilkins, Jr., Lily Kathryn Wilkins, Ethan Robert Bishop and Ella Rose Bishop. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
