She is survived by : her fiancé Sam Holt; her parents, Charles Krauss and Grace Krauss; and her sister Emily Anne Krauss (Sam Holt). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

As much as Carolyn loved beautiful flowers, the family requests instead that any memorials be made to the "Carolyn Krauss Memorial Scholarship Fund" to benefit future UGA students who share her passion for horticulture.
