She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lenora Thompson Brown and William Drewie Brown; her grandson Shannon Johnson; her sisters, Thelma Mason, Katherine Nobles and Shirley Hamilton; her grandchildren, Rob Johnson (Beth), Samantha Odom (Wesley), Carrie Weatherford (Jason), Molly Price (Scott), Carl Waller IV, Tyler Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Lauren Johnson (Matthew), Andrew "Drew" Pollard, Marnie Wagner, Carrie Wagner and Karli Wagner; and her great grandchildren, Ansley, Bobby Johnson, Jacob, Gabe, Emma Odom, Cooper, Taylor Weatherford, Ely, Sarah, Hannah Johnson, Miller Gene and Jackson Price. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
She was president of the Methodist Women's organization, taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir until the pandemic eliminated the choir and served on several committees and the Administrative Council.
