He was predeceased by: his father Charles Joseph Gorman, III (Butch). He is survived by: his mother Martha Berry Conner Gorman; his wife Carol Chapman Gorman; his children, Adam Gorman and Jordan Gorman; and his stepchildren, Matthew Richard Greer (Estelle), Nathan Edward Greer (Emily) and Rosemary Bailey (Palmer).

The family has requested that memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Macon Georgia, the Big House Museum, Macon, Georgia, or the Middle Georgia Down Syndrome Society, Macon, Georgia.
