He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasco A. Lowery, Sr. and Minton Rawlins Lowery; his wife Judy Murphy Lowery; and his siblings, Thomas R. Lowery, Hilda Lindsey, Ann Harris, Shirley Smith, Vasco Lowery, Jr. and Pate Lowery.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy L. Sharp (Wayne) of Belton, TX and Candace L. Evans (Bryan) of Elko, GA; his grandchildren, Anna Grace Gainey, Michael Wayne Sharp (Tori), Sarah Elizabeth Sharp, Carter Manning Evans and Cameron Hart Evans; his sister Betty Lacey of Hazlehurst, GA; and his sister-in-law Nona Lowery of Waycross, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snow's Memorial Chapel (1419 Bass Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
