He is survived by: his wife Ethel "Ruth" Sampson; his sons, Darrien Sampson and Torrence "Torry" Sampson (Akinna); his granddaughter Imani A. Sampson; and his brothers, Steve Wayne Sampson (Brenda) and Zachary McColumn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
