He is survived by: his friend Merlaine Smokes; his daughters, Darlene Smokes-Mitchiner (Robert) and Chandra Fleet; his son-in-law Kevin Vereen; his grandsons, Kevin Vereen, Jr., Kirkland Vereen and Ian Mitchiner; his great grandchildren, Kannon Vereen and Kylyn W. Vereen; and his sisters, Ruby Small, Linda Seymore, Brenda Scruggs, Dianne Smedley and Peggy Smokes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Ingleside Baptist Church (834 Wimbish Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
