With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel Smokes Jr. (Macon, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daniel left this world on May 26, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his friend Merlaine Smokes; his daughters, Darlene Smokes-Mitchiner (Robert) and Chandra Fleet; his son-in-law Kevin Vereen; his grandsons, Kevin Vereen, Jr., Kirkland Vereen and Ian Mitchiner; his great grandchildren, Kannon Vereen and Kylyn W. Vereen; and his sisters, Ruby Small, Linda Seymore, Brenda Scruggs, Dianne Smedley and Peggy Smokes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
