He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Anderson Duncan, Sr. and Grace Thompson Duncan; and his brother Avery A. Duncan, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter PePapa; his significant other Shirley Locklear Duncan; his daughters, Jamie Spires, Aimee Birmingham (Shane) and Halley Byrd; his grandsons, Blake Spires of Georgia, Thomas Stanton of Georgia and Ayden Birmingham of Georgia; and his siblings, Gary Duncan (Beth) of Seneca, SC and Kathy Grant (Bud) of Easley, SC. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
