She was predeceased by: her parents, Hansel Lindsey and Ruby Lindsey; her siblings, Kay Land, Hansel Lindsey, Gay Nell Hayes and Jerry Lindsey; and her grandson Andrew Harrison.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Cox; her sister Diane Hayes (John); her children, Richard Cox (Susan) of Marietta, GA and Leslie Purvis (Danny) of Bonaire, GA; her grandchildren, Chad Cox, Derek Cox (Kelly), Dylan Cox, Casey Harrison (Caitlin), Ally Harrison, Aaron Evans (Taylor), Jonathan Evans (Callie), Ruby Purvis, Tybee Purvis, Oliver Purvis and Jude Purvis; and her great grandchildren, Emma Evans, Drew Harrison, Carter Harrison and Amelia Cox-Vivanco.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
