She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilson Slaughter and Gladys Louise Sapp; her husband Elijah Barnett Hopper, Sr.; and her sister Dale Slaughter. She is survived by: her children, Elijah B. Hopper, Jr. (Cindi) of Macon, Timothy Blocker of Macon, Tina Hopper of Macon, Susan Tedders (Thomas) of Macon and Melinda McCommon (Jeff) of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Chase Hopper (Sarah), Taylor Hopper, Zack Tedders, Austin Tedders (Victoria), Josh McCommon (Amy) and Kaylee Wood (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Madison McCommon, Dean Hatton, Jackson Wood, Theo Hopper and John Hopper; and her pet Savannah.
