With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Earl McGlon of Macon, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard McGlon and Minnie Mae Thigpen; his wife Peggy McGlon; his son Ronnie McGlon; and his granddaughter Stephanie.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky McGlon and Rena Dale Childs (Chris); and his grandchildren, Angie of Benji, C. J., Wesley (Melissa), Brittany and Ricky Earl. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, causes that were close to Earl's heart.
