He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester David Irons and Grace Barlow Irons; and his wife Grace Dorothy Otton Irons. He is survived by: his sons, Bishop Dwight D. Irons (Suzanne) of Tennille and William Chester Irons of Macon; and his grandchildren, Shannon Irons, April Irons and Dwight Edwin Irons.
