She was predeceased by: her parent William Eli Ross. She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Corinne Little; her husband Foy Delano Elkins, Sr.; her children, Cathy Marion of Flowery Branch and Dell Elkins (Debbie) of Macon; her brother Joe Ross (Johnsie) of Macon; her grandchildren, Sharyn Marion, Bobby Bryan (Mandy), Troy Day and Amy Day; and also, Mattie Bryan, Mitchell Day, Sydney Marion, Olivia Marion, Matthew Parker and Jonathan Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Midway Baptist Church, 1200 Moseley Road, Macon, Ga 31220.

“My condolences to the Elkins family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, regardless of how long they have lived. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died (John 11:35) and it pains our loving Heavenly Father, too. He did not purpose his human family to grow old and die but purpose us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose (Psalms 37:11, 29). He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever (1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8). He promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death__ Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; from death I will recover them.” He will then reverse the aging process__ Job 33:24,25 “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” What a delight it will be to see them again to enjoy life as our Creator purposed (Psalms 145:16)! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.”
