He was predeceased by: his father Horace Ellis Scott; and his siblings, Brenda Hopkins and H. Terrell Scott. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Flanders Scott; his daughters, Amy L. Walls of Macon and Crystal L. Addison (Samuel) of Forsyth; his granddaughters, Brittney, Amanda, Bailey, Heather and McKenzie; and his sister Linda Cromer of South Carolina.
