With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmett Leon McDaniel of Macon, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on June 10, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William F. McDaniel; his wife Annie Joyce McDaniel; his siblings, Braswell McDaniel and Mary Brand; and his granddaughter Stephanie Weis Koslow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Weis (Vince), Dodi Good (Thane) and Dina Atkinson (Jason); his grandchildren, Matthew Weis (Heidi), Bailey Good, Alex Good, Hunter Fleenor and Carter Atkinson; his great grandchildren, Sarah Koslow, Palmer Weis and Paisley Weis; and his siblings, Freda Herndon (Rudy), Shirley Harden (Gary), Billy McDaniel (Sheryl) and Marshall McDaniel (Rhonda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
