He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Holland Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah McMahan Ayers; his sons, Silas and Luke McMahan Ayers; his parents-in-law, Jennifer and Craig McMahan; and his extended family, Nathan McMahan, Emily Ball, Hannah, Ruthie, Timothy McMahan King, Jordan McMahan, David and Sally McMahan.
