He was predeceased by : his son Christopher Van Williams; his father G. V. Williams, Jr.; his grandparents, Carl and Hilda Williams Dunn; and his nephew David Howard, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Linda Williams; and his pets, Sandy and Little Bit.
