With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Essie Daye (Macon, Georgia), who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 76. She is survived by: her children, Larry Clark, Sr., Troy Clark, Kimberly Clark and Latyacia Grimes (Jeremy, Sr.); her grandchildren, Antaveyo Clark, Tavonta Finney (Keiata), Tyler Rouse, Tiana Grimes, Jeremy Grimes, Jr. and Liam Grimes; and her siblings, Hattie Collins (Jerome), Clarence Johnson (Wanda) and Bernice Broadus (Frank). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home - Mac (3275 Pio Nono Ave, Macon, GA 31206). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater New Bethel Baptist Church (2407 Rocky Creek Rd, Macon, GA 31206). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
