He was predeceased by: his wife Evangelist Ethel Mae Howard; and his parents, Edward W. Howard Sr. and Ella Mae Goolsby Howard. He is survived by: his children, Jesse Whipple Jr. (Hillary), Alton B. Whipple (Sharesa), Adrian Howard, Dr. Jonathan Howard (Erin), Katrina Howard and Enoch Howard; his brother Oscar Howard; and his sisters-in-law, Minister Sylvia Glenn and Prophetess Betty Jean Dennard.
