It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Lynn Copeland of Macon, Georgia, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dillard Copeland and Leila Pearce Copeland; his son Marcus Lynn Copeland; and his brother Ronald Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lu Copeland of Macon, Georgia; his children, Mike Copeland of Portland, Oregon and Candy Copeland Hudgins (Mark) of Macon; his grandsons, John Hudgins, David Hudgins and Sam Hudgins; and his brother Newman Copeland of Waco, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
