We announce the death of Frances Kathleen Edgar Barrineau (Macon, Georgia), who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Edgar and Mary Lowe Edgar; and her sisters, Winona Elizabeth Edgar, Joyce Mau (George), Faye Stallings (Bill), Yvonne O'Brien (Tom) and Barbara O'Byrne (Fred).
She is survived by: her husband William L. "Bill" Barrineau, Jr.; her children, William L. "Roy" Barrineau III (Jana) and Debra J. Barrineau; her grandchildren, Lee Barrineau (Mary Brenna), Ross Barrineau (Jenny), Betsy Barrineau, Britt Messer of Nashville, TN and Caroline Messer (Warner Robins); her great grandchildren, Andy, Abel, Paisley, Bradley, Ethan, Avery and Southerlyn; and her caregivers, Trina, Stephanie and Iva.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to The Masonic Home of Georgia, The Methodist Home for Children & Youth, or the charity of the donor's choice.
