He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Abbott Jr. and Ida Marie Westerfield; and his brothers, James Robert Abbott III, David Lawrence Abbott and Eugene Shannon Abbott.

He is survived by: his friends, Brenda, Wade, Jessica, Will, Staci Hunnicutt, Otha, Sue Ellen, Kathy, Delk, Darrell, Walter P. Collins and Sara Green.

Frank served as an Indian agent and made one of the most profound gestures of generosity by donating a kidney to a stranger.
