Gene Strouss Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene Strouss (Macon, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gene had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen O. Strouss and Vanessa P. Strouss; and his stepmother Dezzie Strouss. He is survived by: his wife Claudia; his children, Lisa (Gary) and Bart (Laurie); his stepson Jay Cranford (Linda); and his niece Sandra Henry Hill. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great granddaughters.
