He was predeceased by: his father Emit Wright; his wife Sarah Gentry Patat Wright; his daughter Mimi Johnson; and his stepchildren, Coil Patat, Peggy and Mark Price.
He is survived by: his sons, Scotty Wright (Laura) of Macon, Tommy Wright (Tammy) of Perry and Billy Wright of Perry; his stepchildren, Eddy Patat of Indiana, Nadine Warlick (Mike) of Kathleen, Mary Normand (Dennis) of Byron and Cathy Rainbow (Kenny) of Macon; and his sister Agnes Pope of Perry. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
