As we bid Hazel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Hazel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee Davis and Grace Lee Davis; and her husband Terry Lynn McFarland. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Wilder, Mike Wilder (Carolyn) and Terry Wilder (Joe Halladan); and her sister Jean Martin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
